Media pengembangan jurnalisme

Flash back>>
Minggu terakhir bulan November ngurusi sumpahan mahasiswa profesi arsitek angkatan 1. And now, we are here, holiday!!

Membuat kedua orang tuanya bangga...

Semoga ,,
Mimpi ini terus menyala,,
Bersinar terang hingga mimpi itu menjadi nyata,,
Semangat studi lanjut ke luar negeri..

Amin

Apa itu Profesi Arsitek???

Bismillahirrohmanirrohim...
It's been long time I don't meet with you, My B...
See you soon My B

Good Writing, Good Understanding

Writing often becomes the scary subjects for people, they have to stuck in a chair and glare the paper..
It is such sick time,,:(
Writing has become part of people life and they cannot avoid it,,
People have to write when they want to continue their study, write when they want to promote their products, and write to get in close with others...
Thats the mean of writing .. :)
Writing for academic purpose is different from writing from general,,
There are some aspects to be noticed when write for academic academic,,
1. Making the good sentence
Good sentence itself mean not only use the correct diction but also DO NOT USE PASSIVE VOICE in the sentences. Using passive voice give less impression to the readers, so does the use of auxiliary verbs.
2. Mark up the point
For the academic writing, make sure that you state what is the purpose and why do you choose it. In this case, better for the writer to say himself as writer, not me.
3. Proofreader, Is that important?
Some people ever ask "Do I need proofreader for my paper?".   Proofreader is someone who will help you to read and understand your paper and by using it, your paper will be better structured :)
4. Fine correlation
Finding the correlation is important because people get the problems from the source and find the solution by applying some methods. The correlation itself should be researched clearly and be careful with it..

So guys, writing is not scary at all as long as you know they way to do it, it would be easy..
flows like water from mountain to the hill :)
Good luck and see ya,,,

Saturday is the busy day (11 May 2013)

Saturday, 11 May 2013, become the hectic day for me because there are so many "amazing" events that i ever face and it is for the first time. The first is when i want to go out for IELTS Test, as usual, i open rain coat that i use to protect my motorcycle from rain. I saw something different with my helmet adn i take few minutes to think. Few second later, what?? it is a snake. A small green beauty snake is inside my helmet, sleep inside it. I take long small bamboo, the closest stick one from me and i use it to chase away the snake from its hiding, in my helmet. After hitting my helmet many times, the small green snake goes out and i take my helmet as soon as possible. Ride my motorcycle as soon as possible because i do not want to come late, the test will be started at 8.00 am.
Thanks God, I come on time for IELTS Test. Frankly speaking, this is the first time for me to take this test. I have done self study and even took preparation course. This test is started by listening, reading and then writing. The test taker is not allowed to leave the room when the test is in progress. You can imagine that!! be inside in the room for four hours without going to toilet!!
I do not really love with this room because the chair is not comfortable for me. It makes me feel pain in my neck in the back part. Talking about the test, it is not far different from the simulation, such as for listening, it is started by volunteer application form and the test taker should fill the personal information of the volunteer. Next, it is about reading and there are some types, such as headings, true and false. The reading is about influence of odor and translator. I get more pain in my neck when i do this reading part because i have to droop my head to read the text.
The third part is about writing and there are two topics that i got and those are the percentage of used transport by tourists in 20 years starting from 1989 to 2009 in some countries. It is a line chart, so I just need to make a report of it based on the trend, such as the highest one, the lowest and the balance. That is the first type and the second type is about the condition of quality of life for people who live in big cities is getting worse from time to time. I have one hour to do this two types of writing task.
It ends at 12.15 pm and then it is continued with speaking test. There are two rooms for the speaking test and I get the room number 212. My turn is number 4 and the speaking test is not on time. It is late around 15 minutes from the schedule. I meet a medium age woman and the first thing that she asked me is about where do you come from. After that, she asked about where do i live, what kind of house i want in the future. In the part 2, i was asked some questions, such as diet, healthy and unhealthy food, dinner with family, and i forgot ,,:)
In the part 3 of speaking test, I was asked about meal. What kind of meal that i mostly eat, how many time i eat it, with whom you eat it and why do you love it.
In last, I hope i get 7 for my band..
pray for me...
