Teacher Training Japan 2014

Teacher Training Program is one of Japan Government Program (Monbukagakusho) which is designed specially for teachers to improve the teaching quality in their own filed. Teachers will be given training in the way to teach, make effective lesson plan. This teaching program is 1 year 6 months (including 6 month learning Japanese language) starts in October 2014.

Requirements :

1.      Graduated from University (bachelor or diploma) and active teacher in school (elementary, highs school both private and state)

2.      Has teaching experiences more than 5 years school in formal institution on April 1^st 2014. All fields are offered except civic, Indonesian, local language, Arabic, religion and hotel education.

3.      Not more than 35 years old on April 1^st 2014

4.      Healthy physically and psychology (pregnant women are ineligible to apply)

5.      Willing to learn Japanese language 

Facilities :

1.      Return airfare Indonesia – Japan

2.      Free

3.      Monthly allowance 143.000 yen each month

4.      Dormitory provided

How to apply:

1.      Application opens December 10^th 2013 and will be closed on January 24^th 2014

2.      Submit the application form and supporting documents to Education Section Japan Embassy

3.      For government officer, has to submit the application form and supporting documents to BPKLN

Needed documents:

1.      Application form (provided)

2.      Photo (stick on the form)

3.      Teaching certificate that explain applicant is active teacher, signed and stamp.

4.      Certified bachelor certificate and academic transcript

5.      Recommendation letter from School Principal

*All documents are written in English or Japanese (A4 paper size)         

Selection Phases:

1.      Administration process will be launched February 14^th 2014

2.      Written English test February 20^th 2014

3.      Interview test for shortlisted candidate in Jakarta

4.      Recommended to Monbukagakusho

5.      Receive the scholarship
